Rapunzel and Mother Goffel

Eleanor and Phaedra were playing around with my measuring tapes this morning. Eleanor decided to be Rapunzel and let down her “hair” which was actually the measuring tape. So Phaedra pretended to be “Mother Goffel.” This is the conversation they had while they played:

Rapunzel: Mother, can I leave the tower, because I need to measure the world.

Mother Goffel (in her high-pitched pretending voice): No. Because it’s dangerous for the ruler.

Rapunzel: You’re the dangerous one, Mother.

Mother Goffel: No!

Okay, maybe you had to be there, but it cracked me up.
