~Milestone~

After putting her on the scale at the pumpkin patch, I was reminded to try weighing her at home again, sans clothing. On November 3, 2007, we weighed her and she was a whopping 20.5 pounds, so even if the scale rounded it up, she still is at least 20 pounds!! We turned the carseats around and went for a drive. She loved it. Ever since we turned her around, we've been hearing things like:
"Weeee!"
"Mommy dwyeen." (driving)
"Daddy dwyeen." (observant, isn't she?)
"Bus!"
I think she's really happy to be able to see what we see.

I have enjoyed it, too. I can finally hear her little voice talking to me in the car. It makes a big difference when she's actually facing your direction. I used to have to strain and lean my head back as close to her as possible to try to hear what she was saying to me.

It does have it's drawbacks, also. The first night, we went to Burger King for dinner and ordered a chocolate shake. In the past, we could tell her it was Mommy or Daddy's turn for a drink, and take it away from her for a while. This time, she could see us taking a drink and knew the second we tried to put the cup down. "Noree turn!" Such fun!
