As usual, the Christmas season crept up on me, and I have been scrambling to catch up. I always take on too many projects, because I like to try to make gifts instead of just buying them. I always say I'll get a head start, but it never happens. This year has felt extra hectic, and I'm not even sure why. So, I really don't have much time to blog, even though I wish I did. I should be doing other things right now. I just wanted to let everyone know I haven't fallen off the face of the earth, but I might end up doing a big holiday re-cap once January rolls around. Here's a little tidbit to tide you over:
Decorating the tree was a slow process over about a week this year. We put the tree up on Saturday, put the lights on it on Monday, Eleanor and a friend put tinsel on it on Wednesday, and I think we got all the ornaments up on Thursday. Here's Monday. It was Grant's birthday, so we only put on the lights before we went out for dinner to celebrate his birthday. Eleanor loved helping us, and was really excited about the lights.
