Heavenly Father. . . Day!

For Father's Day, I took a short video of Eleanor saying, "Happy Father's Day," with me prompting her for each word. Whenever she repeated the word Father's, she would fold her arms. We figured out that she was doing it because the main times she heard the word was when we said, "Heavenly Father," at the beginning of a prayer. She enjoyed watching the little video of herself and asked for it to be repeated again and again.

Lately, we have been helping her say the family prayer at night, prompting her with what to say, and she repeats back a few words from our sentences. She has even asked me at random times to say a prayer, and we stop what we're doing and have a prayer. She's always really good at the beginning, but if you get too lengthy, she stops repeating until you get to the Amen. About a week or two ago, she added her own little touch to her prayers. We prompt her with, "Heavenly Father. . ." and she repeats, "Heavenly Father. . ." and before we tell her the next line, she very clearly and happily says, "Day!"
