We went to Alex's piano recital on Sunday; I just haven't had a chance to post this until now. I didn't get any pictures of him playing because I didn't want to be rude. But when it was all done, the cameras came out, and I knew I could get away with it. This is the best picture I could get from where we were sitting of Alex with a few of his fellow students. Alex did an exceptional job. He said he messed up, but I couldn't even tell. Of course, that's not what I told him. I told him it was so obvious and I sat snickering at him until his song was through. I guess the truth is out now: Alex, you did a really great job. We were all really impressed.
Eleanor especially enjoyed Alex's playing. She was on Grandpa's lap when Alex was up. She ignored the music of almost all the other students, but when Alex was up, she was dancing and pointing at him.

Awww! Eleanor loves her Uncle Alex!
